Wired Homework1: 

Visit from Flaxman Library – discussion of digital image resources

HW: Make a collage using images from at least 3 images you find on ARTstor, MDID and Google. Add the collage and original images to your blog, along with a paragraph description.

When setting out to do this assignment, I knew I wanted to create an image that looked somewhat realistic. Going onto ARTstor I wanted to find an image related to landscapes. I wanted to find a landscape image because this would allow me to freely create an image of my choice. I chose to look up images made from artist, Claude Monet. Claude Monet is a painter known for painting landscapes. The image of the man on the right was actually taken from an image of my own photographs. I decided to use the polygon tool and shape his body out onto the background. The image of the fox was taken from google. I used the magic wand tool to shape out the fox body onto the background. The image of the bird on the top left was also an image taken from google. Again I used the magic wand to shape the birds body out onto the background. With all of the images I transformed and scaled the images down to a fitting size.
